BSNL UTTARAKHAND TELECOM CIRCLE LAUNCHES VOCATIONAL (SUMMER) TRAINING FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS

BSNL Uttarakhand Telecom Circle launched Summer training program for Engineering students since the year 2010. The salient features of the program are detailed below:

OBJECTIVE:
To give an overview of a range of Telecom Technologies,
To give an exposure to working/live Telecom equipments deployed in BSNL,
To help enhance awareness of the students on various job options in the Telecom Industry.

MODE: Part time sessions on theory/Installation visits, self-study, Assignment, evaluation and certification.

Eligibility:
Engineering Students of 2’nd & 3’rd Year and diploma holders of the stream of Electronics & Communications, Computer, IT & Electrical.

Durations: In-plant Training at BSNL Field Units for 04 Weeks.

Period: April to August, 2013.

Training Fees: 04 Weeks / 16 Sessions : Rs. 4,000/- ( + ) Service Tax (Requisite fees in the form of DD only in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash) of concerned SSA)

Certificate: Appropriate certificate will be issued alongwith performance assessment by BSNL for each student.
