"Walk in Interview” will be held at IASRI, New Delhi for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) as indicated below. The appointment will be on contractual basis and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR.

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Statistics / Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University
Desirable :
(i) Expertise on use of statistical software
(ii) Knowledge of computer programming

Emoluments: Consolidated Rs.16,000+30% HRA per month for first two years and Rs.18,000+30% HRA per month for third year.

Walk-in-interview will be held at IASRI, New Delhi under NAIP funded project “Establishment of National Agricultural Bioinformatics Grid (NABG) in ICAR” for the following posts. The appointment will be on contractual basis upto 31st March, 2014 or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR.

Emoluments : Consolidated ` 24000/- per month + HRA (for Ph.D. Degree holders) and `23000/- per month + HRA (for Master’s Degree holders)

Essential Qualification:
i) Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent or
ii) Post-Graduation in Bioinformatics/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent with 1st Division and at least two years of research experience

Desirable:
i) Knowledge of Statistical and computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics
ii) Knowledge of open source and data base
iii) Expertise on use of statistical software
