    Sir, I have completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Service this year. This I did after completing my graduation from Sambalpur University, Orissa in Botany Honors. I have completed my schooling from St. Josephs Convent School, Rourkela. I have been a good student throughout my studies and won scholarship awards in my school for the year 1996-97 and 1998-99. Besides this I have also won first prize in science seminar organized by the Biology Department of our college in graduation level. I have always keenly participated in extra curricular activities like debate, elocution programmes, contributing articles for school and college magazines and organizing pulse polio and HIV/AIDS programme in school.
    In the post-graduation level, at our institute, we have been given excellent teaching inputs augmented with rich practical exposures like urban field exposures, rural field exposures and the organizational visit. I had been the group representative in urban field work. I along with my team mates have organized several advocacy and community mobilization programmes in our slum area. My specialization paper in the PGDRD programme is Reproductive Child Health and gender in development.
