Fresh notification inviting application from outstanding sports persons who have represented at International/ National/ Inter University/ National School Games (after 01.04.2010) are hereby called for, for recruitment to Postal/ Sorting Assistant, Postal Assistant in SBCO, Postman & Multi Tasking Staff cadres in Gujarat Postal Circle in the following disciplines of sports. Those who had applied in response to the earlier notification can also apply afresh. Total number of vacancies in each cadre is as follows

Education Qualification: -Matriculation from a recognized Board or University

Selection Procedure: - The marks obtained in Aptitude Test will be taken to draw merit in respect of each division and selection will be purely on merit basis i.e. marks taken in Aptitude Test. The candidate may apply for more than one Postal Division, but he has to appear in Aptitude Test only for one division.

Examination Fee: - The applicants have to deposit Rs. 100 in Unclassified Receipts in any Post Office and submit Original receipt along with application.

ii) Application forms should be sent by Registered Post or Speed post only to ensure ready proof and to avoid any possible manipulations.

iii) The Applicants are required to enclose attested copies of all supporting documents, two attested photos and self-addressed envelope with Rs. 40/- (speed Post Charges) stamp along with the Application. The envelope addressed to concerned Divisional Head must bear name of post for which the application is being sent in Bold Letter.
