    Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History, Coimbatore requires Research Personnel for its two research projects

    1. Name of the project : “Assessment of the impact of agrochemicals on avifauna in the catchment of Keoladeo National Park, Rajasthan”.
    Duration: Three years or coterminus with the project duration, whichever is earlier;
    Name of the post : Junior Research Fellow / Programme Fellow
    No. of post : 01
    Age: Not more than 28 years as on 1.1.2013
    Fellowship : Up to Rs.16000/- per month + HRA as applicable.
    Essential Qualification: M.Sc Environmental Sciences/ Ecology/ Aquatic Biology/ Any branch of Life Sciences. Previous working experience on birds, wetlands, laboratory analytical techniques involving water, sediment, and biological specimens (contamination and toxicology studies) will be an added advantage;
    Desirable: One year of working experience on wetlands/ aquatic birds/ limnological assessments. The candidate is expected to have a valid two wheeler and/or four wheeler driving license.

    2. Name of the project : “Assessment of the morphological diversity and ecological patterns in the near threatened colonial water birds across Indian Subcontinent using novel approach”
    Duration: Two years;
    Name of the post : Junior Research Fellow / Programme Fellow

    Age: Not more than 28 years as on 1.1.2013
    Fellowship : Up to Rs.16000/- per month + HRA as applicable.
