Job Description
- OVERALL ADVISE AND LEAD TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF PROJECT AT DISTRICT(S) LEVEL
-Provide technical leadership to the Project core team and partner teams in Advocacy, Communication Socila Mobilisation (ACSM), MDR TB, HIV TB , Workplace interventions and other technical areas of Project strategy.
-Design, execute and disseminate the Advocacy, Communication Socila Mobilisation (ACSM), MDR TB, HIV TB , Workplace interventions needs assessment planned for the first quarter of the Project.
-Lead the training programs designed within the Project for NGO/CBOs and PPs in the pertinent aspects of ACSM, MDR TB, HIV TB , Workplace interventions of RNTCP.
-Ensure rigor in monitoring and evaluation for ACSM, MDR TB, HIV TB , Workplace interventions.
-Ensure compliance to RNTCP standards in all aspects of the Project.
-Liaise and develop strategic linkages with State liasion Officer, State TB Division, and GO/NGO/Private sector representatives .
-Build capacity and skills of Project staff at all levels, especially in ACSM, MDR TB, HIV TB , Workplace interventions.
-Document and disseminate lessons learned from the Project.
Desired Candidate Profile
-Graduate or Postgraduate in medicine/public health/social work/anthropology/management.
-In-depth understanding of social mobilization and advocacy, especially as applied to public health and TB.
-Three to Five years’ experience in a technical position.
-Ability in effective oral and written communication. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
-Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relations with public and private sector entities and professional associations.
-High standards of stewardship and accountability.
-Sensitive to the political and cultural context in which the project operates.
-Committed to the transfer of knowledge.
-Willing to travel extensively to project sites and elsewhere.

2. Tribal sub plan Chhota udepur as a project consultant :

The tribal development department, government of Gujarat is developing projects for doubling of GDP (Gross Domestic Production) of tribal talukas in next years. Gujarat tribal development corporation has been identified as the nodal agency for providing project management support to monitor project expenditures and its performance, award for major contracts and implementation of major activities on periodic basis through regular feedback from individual.
Main task is Planning, implementation & evaluation.
Job Responsibility
Conceptualize individual sub-projects as per the requirements of local area and development norms for procurement of sources.
Develop guidelines for prudent fund management.
Duties are to be performed with coordination, consultants to senior project consultant of state level.
Getting project proposal for approval by the Gramsabha.project formulation, implementation, monitoring and evolution project in ITDP (Integrated Tribal Development Project) areas.
Developing strategy for tribal development in the ITDP (integrated tribal development project ) area and design scheme based on new technology.
Coordinate other organization working in rural area so as to efficiently benefit the tribal people.
Evaluate annual gross domestic production as taluka cell.

2) Mobile Comprehensive Health Care Unit
A Mobile Health Unit strengthening mobile health services, emergency diagnostic and referral services to tribal population having little access to government health care services.
3) Safe Motherhood & Child Survival Project
The district project was undertaken to decry the infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate in Baroda district of Gujarat. Under this project various initiative were undertaken like Behavior change communication, Antenatal care, Post natal care, Obstructive and New born care, Institutional Delivery to promote the safe motherhood and safe childhood.
4) 24 X7 Emergency Transport facility (EmTF)
Unavailability of adequate transport facility and poor condition of roads add to the misery, resulting in the preponderance of home based health care and home deliveries, with or without trained assistance. So the Major initiative of emergency transport facility is undertaken in the tribal Blocks.
5) Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric & Newborn Care (CEmONC) Unit
Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric & Newborn Care (CEmONC) Unit is available to protect lives of women having complications during pregnancy and postpartum.
