Pay scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + 4200 GP
Minimum essential qualification : B.SC /03 years diploma in Engineering Or Suitable Junior Commission Officer/Ex-Junior Commission Officer with fifteen (15) years service as a combatant, at least three years service as a Subedar in the requisite trade.

Minimum essential qualification :
(i) Matriculation or equivalent
(ii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenous duties and must have passed the endurance test specified below;
(aa) Height without shoes 165 cms, provided that a concession 2.5 cms height shall be allowed to member of the Scheduled Tribes.
(ab) Chest (unexpanded) – 81.5 cms.
(ac) Chest (on-expansion) – 85 cms.
(ad) Weight – 50 kgs (minimum).
(ae) Endurance Test :
(i) Carrying a man (fireman lift) of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 mtr within 96 seconds.
(ii) Clearing 2.7 mtr wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump).
(iii) Climbing 3 mtr vertical rope using hands and feet.
(iii) This post is purely for male candidates.

When will you conduct the physical test for the post of fireman?

Date of physical test, practical, written exam and interview:
** Will be intimated to eligible candidates individually. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidate for appearing in the recruitment test.

** If a large number of applications are received for any post, Commandant OD Fort Allahabad reserves the right to restrict number of applicants for any of the posts by fixing cut off percentage of marks obtained in required minimum essential qualification . A minimum ratio of 1:50 will be maintained for such cut off. Commandant OD Fort, Allahabad reserves the right to short list the applications on the basis of available vacancies and No of eligible applicants.

** Date of test may change due to unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of Commandant OD Fort Allahabad.
