A full time 4 year BE/B Tech degree from a recognized institute in Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Electronics / Control & Instrumentation with minimum of 60% marks in class X & XII and 70% in BE/B.Tech. Degree pass out of year 2013 and year 2012 are only eligible.
Age : Not more than 26 years as on july 01, 2013.

Post Diploma Programme in Thermal Power Plant Technology (PDPTPT)
Eligibility :
A full time 3 year Diploma from a recognized institute in Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Electronics / Control & Instrumentation with minimum of 60% marks in class X & XII and Diploma.
Age : Not more than 26 years as on july 01, 2013.
Total Number of Seats : 30
Fee : INR 80,000

Selection Process :
Written Test followed by Personal Interview which will be conducted at Delhi, Kolkata, Bengalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Baroda & Raipur. Examination centres may be changed based on applications.

Work Experience at MAZAGON DOCK LTD.
Doing work in production and assembly shop. in company, I was able to learn a lot about making of ship or unit of ship and how different part are being separately and their operation takes place. Also develop the 5s’. in training period I had learn about the function of hand commander m/c, pug m/c ,shearing m/c’s, material flow in the shop etc.in training period, I met to interact with the different people of the shop floor and of the management level. Title : MODIFICATION ON PIPE ROLLING MACHINE
The modification on pipe rolling m/c is study project. It describes how much time is required to each pipe roll operation. The project is divided in two parts
Machine wise capacity calculation & component wise capacity calculation.
Conclusion due to modification of in rolling m/c operation are performed at faster rate.

** In this training, i acquired the brief knowledge of PLC, SCADA, various other electronic devices, and the way graphites are being prepared on such a large scale.

Minor project on “ REMOTE CONTROL FOR HOME APPLIANCES”. It is an electronic system which can be used in the case of devices and applications such as TV,VCR, camera, CD speller or even tasks such as simply opening a door.
A single remote control can be made to operate at different frequencies , each corresponding to a particular task to be performed by the appliance, for example television. This is a further application where a compact device can perform multiple operations.
Major project on “SUN TRACKING SYSTEM”. It is based on micro controller system for solar tracking . The major disadvantages of solar energy are the amount of sun light that arrives at the earth surface is not constant. Here the proposed system is designed to observe the sun light for the available maximum hours.
