Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following courses against Subsidised/ Non-Subsidised seats for the Academic year 2013-14.

IV Master of Mass Communication ( MMC) Two years
V PG Diploma in Human Resource Development ( PG HRD) One year
VI P.G. Diploma in Mass Communication ( PGDMC) One Year
VII Master of Education ( M.Ed.) One year
VIII Master of Tourism Administration ( MTA) Two Years
IX Five Years” Integrated Course (Master) in Tourism Administration ( FYICTA) Five Years
X Bachelor in Hotel Management ( BHM) Three Years

NOTE:
I) The admission to these courses shall be made on the merit of Entrance Tests and Past Academic record wherever applicable.

II) All the seats for Diploma in HRD are under Non- Subsidised Scheme.

III) The candidates who have passed or have appeared in the qualifying examination (s) are eligible for admission to above courses and can apply for appearing in the Entrance Examination. However, their admission in the concerned Department/ Institute will be subject to their securing the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying examination(s) and submission of all documents including final marks sheet of the qualifying examination(s) latest by the date of Interview/ Admission.

IV) The prospectus for admission in Two years Master of Tourism Administration ( after Graduation), Three years Bachelor in Hotel Management and Five Years Integrated Course in Tourism Administration ( both after Plus Two) will be available at the Office of Institute of Vocational Studies up to 18th May, 2013 on payment of Rs. 200/- on counter and Rs. 250/- by Post through IPO/ Bank Draft in favour of the Director, Institute of Vocational Studies, H.P. University Shimla- 171005. The filled up application form should reach on or before the last date i.e. 18th May, 2013 along with application form fee in the shape of DD as applicable to the respective course, in favour of Director, IVS ( Tourism). The complete application form may be submitted in the Office of IVS, Gandhi Bhawan, H.P. University, Shimla- 171005. Contact No. 0177- 2633251 ( 10.00 A.M. V) The HBI/ Prospectus for the courses mentioned at Sr. No. I to VII will be available in the office of the Dean of Studies , H,P, University, Shimla-5 w.e.f. 04-04-2013 to 02-05-2013 on working days/ hours @ Rs. 160/- on Counter and @ Rs. 200/-by post w,e.f. 04-04- 2013 to 28-04-2013. The BD/ IPOs should be in favour of Finance Officer, H.P. University Shimla- 171005 along with request for supply of HBI by Post be sent to the office of the Dean of Studies, H.P. University, Shimla-171005. Application Forms complete in all respects must reach to Chairpersons/ Directors of the concerned Teaching department / institute in which the candidate has to seek admission latest by 2nd May, 2013.

NOTE:
1. The HBI will not be sent By Post after 28-04-2013 .
2. Money Orders for supply of HBI for the above courses shall not be entertained.
