The National Institute of Technology Meghalaya established in 2010, as an Institute of National Importance, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, started its academic activities in Shillong from July, 2012. The Institute invites applications in Prescribed Format from Indian Nationals for appointment on permanent/ contract/ deputation basis, possessing consistently good academic record and requisite qualifications and experience, with commitment to work, passion for teaching & research and an inclination towards institutional development, for various faculty positions listed below.

1.Name of the post : Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech/Civil)
Pay Scale : AGP:Rs. 10,000/- PB4 Min Basic: Rs. 43,000/-
Essential Qualifications : Ph. D. and 1st Class at UG & PG levels
Experience : 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years (not counting Ph.D. enrollment period) total out of which 7 years to be after Ph.D. including 3 years at Associate professor level.

2.Name of the post : Associate Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech/Civil)
Pay Scale : AGP: Rs. 9,000/- PB4
Essential Qualifications : Ph.D. with 1st Class at UG & PG levels
Experience : 6 years after Ph.D., or 9 years total (not counting Ph.D. enrollment period) out of which 3 years should be after Ph.D. and as assistant professor or equivalent in a reputed institute, laboratory or industry
