About Us :
St. Joseph’s Convent School, Virapandian Patnam was established in the year 2009 in St. Thomas Hospital building and moved to the present school building in the year 2010. It is a co-ed school and at present offers classes from LKG to VII. It will be upgraded to Std X & XII gradually.
We have designed our methodology aiming at the all round development of the students. A diverse program schedule throughout the year helps students give expression to their interests and talents and thus enjoy their school life. We plan to put top-notch IT facilities that will support the academic carrier of the students. An hour of physical activity in the form of games and sports is compulsory during the week days. The school has its own Data Projection System which allows the students to view the latest amenities. Students are encouraged to pursue their interests voluntarily, whether it is opting for their favourite sport or pursuing their hobbies. An excellent, well stocked, library opens every day of the week. Campus life is designed to bring about the holistic improvement of the students, thereby, complementing the formal learning process.
It is a minority school, consequently, receives no Government or Private aid and this necessitates the collection of fee for the upkeep and further development of the school.
