PURVANCHAL BANK (erstwhile PURVANCHAL GRAMIN BANK) invites applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

Educational Qualification :
i)Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent . Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry , Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy ;
ii)Proficiency in local language
iii) Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification

Age (As on 01-06-2012) : Between 18 years and 28 years
Educational Qualification :
i)Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent .
ii)Essential-Proficiency in local language
iii)Knowledge of Computer skills desirable
Pre- Requisite Qualifications : Candidates who have been declared qualified in the RRBs-Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in September 2012 should have obtained the prescribed scores.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
Application Fee : Challan can be downloaded from the website.
SC/ST/PWD candidates.: Rs. 20/-
All others : Rs.100/-
Call Letters For The Interview :
i) All eligible candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given by the candidates in their application form, which will be sent by post/ courier.
ii) Candidate has to affix his/her photograph on the call letter. Candidate has to bring this call letter along with original fee payment receipt and requisite enclosures while attending the Interview without which they will not be allowed to take up the Interview.

i) Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website between 10-04-2013 and 25-04-2013.
ii) The Application printout along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for Interview

I am form Tamilnadu. I want to know that, where will you conduct the interview for office assistant?
Interview Center :
The Interview will be held at the GORAKHPUR centre and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. The address of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.
Note:
Bank reserves the right to cancel the centre and/or add some other centres, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc. Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any of the centres other than the one he/she has opted for.
