Ministry of Health & Family Welfare intends to recruit the following staff in National NCD Cell for National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke (NPCDCS).

1. Name of Post : Programme Officer(NCD National)
No. of post : 1
Age limit: Up to 50 years.
Tenure: One year
Emoluments: 70,000-80,000 per month (Consolidated)
Location: Delhi
Qualification & Experience:
i) M.B.B.S, MD in General Medicine/Community Medicine or equivalent
ii) At least 7 years of experience after obtaining post graduate degree.
iii) Experience of working in Public Health Programme preferably in Non Communicable Diseases (Desirable)

2. Name of the Post: Epidemiologist

Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
Tenure: One Year
Emoluments: 50,000-60,000 per month (consolidated)

Qualifications & Experience:
i) Post Graduate degree in Epidemiology/ Demography/ Statistics/ Biostatics or equivalent.
ii) At least 5 years of relevant experience in epidemiological studies, date analysis and research.
iii) Experience of working in Health Sector/ Public Health Programme preferably in Non-communicable Diseases (Desirable).

Eligibility:
(i) Pass in 10th standard or High School examination or equivalent.
(ii) Successful Completion of ANM/Health Worker (Female) Training course from an Institution, recognized by Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council
(iii) Registration with Indian/State Nursing Council as ANM/Health Worker (F) both in Nursing and Midwifery.
(iv) Those who have appeared in final ANM Exam 2013, are also apply.
Desirable: Working knowledge in Hindi.

Selection : Selection will be based upon Marks Obtained in the Written Examination & Interview to be held at this centre. 100 marks will be for the written examination and 25 marks for the interview. The proportionate weightage will also be given for experience in National Health Programmes, for the marks in the interview. Decision of the selection committee, in this matter will be final.
