IGRUA offers following course commencing September, 2013.

Name of the Course : Ab-initio to CPL Course
Seats : 150
Duration: 18 months (may get extended)
Age Limit: Minimum age limit for above course is 17 years at the time of joining the course.
Training : Ground and flying training for issue of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft

Eligibility :
Passed 10 + 2 or its equivalent with Physics, Maths & English as main subjects with minimum qualifying marks as below;
General Candidates :
i. Passed English at 10+2 level with
ii. Minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

SC / ST / OBC Candidates :
i. Passed English at 10+2 level AND
ii. Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

Training fee:
Rs. 32.5 Lacs + Applicable Taxes ( @ 12.36% at present ) payable in four quarterly installments.
Additional expenditure for about Rs. 1 Lac towards cost of Uniform, Study Material, Navigation Computer, Head Phones, DGCA Examination and License fee

Selection procedure : Selection procedure consists of Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

Examination Centres: (i) Delhi (ii) Hyderabad (iii) Kolkatta (iv) Raebareli (v) Mumbai
(Option for two centers is to be made giving first and second choice)

Documents to be attached along with Application Form :
Candidates are required to submit Documents as mentioned below along with their application form.
(i) Two Recent passport size photographs (One pasted on Application Form and the other enclosed) with name written at the back.
(ii) Non-refundable Application fee of Rs. 6,000/- by Demand Draft in favour of ‘Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi’ drawn on any nationalized/ scheduled Bank and payable at Raebareli.
(iii) Only SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
