Job Description
Located at: Jaipur

Reporting to: Manager- Product Development.

No. of persons: Team of 7-8 designers

Overall purpose :
Responsible for spearheading a team, coordinating between the designers & marketing department, and undertaking key activities of Design trend spotting & conceptualizing ensuring implementation of the predefined norms.

Key functional area(s):
- To Interact with business development teams and develop designs briefs based on their feedback.
- Coordination & interaction with Clients to understand their specifications for designing.
- Visualization and conceptualization of designs for international and domestic clientele based on the given design briefs.
- Create new styles / range for different export markets abroad and communicating specifications to the designers’ team.
- Selection of the designs for sampling during shows/exhibitions/seasonal sale ,and also for further product development processes.
- Monitoring Quality Control of Manual Designing, CAD / CAM and Sampling to ensure minimum to zero faults.
- Study, forecast and analysis of the latest trends for developing inspiration design direction for each season.
- Browsing Design galleries & researching Jewellery trends and keeping an eye on the fashion world to keep abreast of developments in the industry.
- Prepare presentations for the new and forthcoming collections and concepts.
- Prepare & coordinate graphics, catalogues and posters for different purposes such as for in-house use, marketing and international/domestic Jewellery shows or exhibitions.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications: Advanced diploma courses in Jewellery designing from an institute of repute like NIFT/NID/ JPDC/ SNDT Or a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Work Experience:
1. TOTAL Experience : Min.4 to Max.8 Years out of which : -
- 2-3 years of work experience post qualification as a Jewellery designer.
- Min. 1 year of experience as a senior designer.
- Min.1 year of experience as a H.O.D. or Head Jewellery designer.
2. A hand on experience with artisans or Jewellery manufacturing processes with good knowledge of CAD designing and model making .

Additional Information:
- Females preferred between 25 to 32 years of age.
- Should have excellent communication skills to be able to interact with local and international buyers and customers.
- Proven aptitude for manual designing of silver, gold & colored gemstone Jewellery.
- Admirable knowledge of software applications such as Jewel cad, Corel and Photoshop is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office applications is a must.
- Brilliant people management and leadership skills are required.
