National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) aims at reduction of poverty by building institutions of poor and ultimately leading them to sustainable livelihoods. Odisha Livelihoods Mission under the aegis of panchayati raj department, Government of Odisha has been established to spearhead the poverty alleviation initiatives of NRLM in the State of Odisha. Prime focus of National Rural Livelihoods Mission is to put in place a dedicated and sensitive support structure from the National level to the sub-district level which will focus on the institutions of poor and nurture them through social, economic and financial inclusion
