Senior Engineer / Engineer Technical Safety (NORWAY)

A person working on this position will be supporting the designers, and sales department with maintaining the company security policy. This includes minimizing the risk associated with equipment, studying effects of accidents on personnel and equipment and following Standards and Regulations. The position is based in Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Project and Sales Departments with the support on technical safety issues
- Development of technical safety plans for projects
- Review of relevant engineering drawings and documents
- Review of technical safety documentation
- Conducting safety studies
- Standardization and implementation of technical security procedures and documentation in company standards

Requirements
- Bachelor / Master engineer within a mechanic discipline (High documented experience can compensate for lack of formal education)
- At least 3 years of experience on engineer position.
- Knowledge of Standards and Regulations (preferably Drilling and Lifting equipment)
- Fluent oral and written English language
