Admission to Ph.D. / M.Tech / M.Des Programmes for 2013-14-I Semester (July 2013)

Applications are invited for admission for July 2013 Semester in the following programmes;

M.Tech. & Ph.D (ENGINEERING):

Fee : Demand draft payable to The Registrar, IIT Kanpur payable at Kanpur
General and OBC candidates : Rs. 400
SC/ST candidates : Rs. 200

How to Apply :
i) Applications must be filled online, except for Departments of Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Material Science and Engineering. These three departments will accept both online and paper submission of applications. After filling in the online application, one has to take a print out and send it to the department concerned, along with all the certificates, photograph, and a draft for application fee. The list of attachments are provided on the application page (as well as in the paper application form for the three departments).

ii) Financial assistance may be provided to students selected in M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes.

iii) The online applications page will be available from 18th March 2013, till 8th April 2013.

iv) The printed application, along with all certificates and applications fee must be received by the departments latest by 11th April, 2013.

v) Separate application must be filled for each programme

vi) Paper Application form can be downloaded (Only for AE, EE, and MSE Departments) from the website.

Important Dates :
Last date of ONLINE application: 08-April-2013 (4:00 PM).
Last Date for Hard copy of ONLINE Application : 11th April, 2013.
