Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary positions of one Research Associate in the DBT research project entitled ‘Mapping of mungbean yellow mosaic India virus (MYMIV) resistance loci in soybean’ and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in NIPGR “Short-Term Research Fellowships’ scheme under the guidance of Dr. Manoj Prasad, Scientist, NIPGR.

(A) Name of the post : Research Associate

Eligibility : Candidates having Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology or any other related field are eligible to apply. The candidate should have a good academic record and research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard referred journals. Candidate having research experience in the area of Advanced Molecular Biology, Genomics, Transcriptomics, In-silico Data Analysis etc, will be given preference.

(B) Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow

Emoluments : As per DST/DBT norms.
Eligibility : Candidates having M.Sc. degree (with minimum 60%) in Bioinformatics with two year of post M.Sc. research experience are eligible to apply. Experience on working with In-silico biology and genomics is highly desirable. The candidate should have first class/division throughout academic career.
