Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling-up the following vacant Non-teaching (Group - A) posts in the pay band and grade pay indicated against each post plus other allowances as per Central Government Rules;

1.Name of the post : Registrar (Tenure post for five years)
Scale of pay : PB `37,000-67,000 + GP `10,000

(i) A master’s degree with Commerce or Business Administration (Finance) or comparable equivalent degree in relevant area with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale from a recognized University/ Institute.
(ii) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration Or, Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or other institutions of higher education Or, 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post with experience in Finance and Accounts Or, A commerce graduate and qualified CA/ICWA with at least 15 years of work experience in the relevant field of activities.

(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.

(i) Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
(ii) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
(iii) However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the "University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Librarian / College Librarian.

Eligibility:
i) Candidates must be Post Graduate in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks. A relaxation of 5% marks at the master’s level is applicable for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures. A relaxation of 5% shall also applicable for the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September, 1991.
ii) Final year candidates can also apply, however they have to submit photocopy of their Final Year Mark sheet at the time of interview.
