Child with PIO
Dear Sir,
My grand daughter now aged 4years10 months is a Canadian by birth and holding Canadian passport. She has been issued PIO card in 10/3/2010 and valid up to 09/03/2025. Since November2011 she is with me and going to school. Now we are planning to go to Canada for holiday. Bonafide student certificate has been issued by the school. Please let me know whether she has to require registration with immigration office. The immigration official at Hyderabad international Airport has informed that no further registration required to children below 16 years and school certificate is enough at the time of leaving the country. I would be grateful if you kindly clarify my doubt.
Thanks & Regards,
Dr. K. Ramappa
