Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) propose to engage General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and Specialists for their various locations/formations throughout the country (purely on contract basis) as per terms and conditions mentioned below;

It is hereby emphasized that the candidates who merely secure the qualifying percentage marks and found medically fit, may not be considered for final selection since the cut off marks will be determined according to number of vacancies as well as after completion of whole recruitment process. Where equal marks have been obtained by candidates their merit will be fixed as per date of birth. The older candidate will be given preference and in case the date of birth is also the same, marks in the written test would decide the merit.
