Essential Educational qualification as on 25.03.2013 :
(i) Medical PG Degree in concerned specialty/Department from a recognized Medical Institution Medical Diploma in concerned specialty/Department from a recognized Medical Institution with 2 years experience from a Medical Institution
(If such candidates are not available in the particular specialty, those without PG qualification having at last two years experience after MBBS in concerned specialty out of which one year Junior Residency from a Govt. Hospital in the concerned specialty can be considered).
(ii) MCI/State MC Registration
For Casualty: - Medical PG degree of any above specialty/Department OR
Medical diploma in any above specialty/Department from a recognized Medical Institution with 2 years experience from a Medical Institution
(If such candidates are not available in the particular specialty, those without PG qualification having at least two years experience after MBBS in concerned specialty out of which one year Junior Residency from a Govt. Hospital in the concerned can be specialty considered).

Note :
1. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed.
2. No TA/DA will be admissible for joining purpose.
3. It is a contractual post for one year only and contract will be signed on a stamp paper of Rs. 100/. The original contract will be with the hospital and its copy will be with candidate. Cost of the stamp paper will be borne by the candidate.
4. Senior Resident will be required to deposit security of Rs. 4000/ Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1 at the time of joining, which is refundable after completion of contract period and on production of “No dues certificate”.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of Librarian Gr. I, Library Assistant & Stenographers in the Offices of ESI Corporation, West Bengal Region

Essential Qualifications: Graduate with Degree or Diploma in Library Science (one year course after graduation) of a recognized University or its equivalent. Two years experience in a public college, University or Departmental Library.

Essential Qualifications: Matriculation with certificate in Library Science (1 year course after Matriculation).

(i) Higher Secondary pass (pass in 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board)
(ii) A speed of 80 words per minute in stenography in English/Hindi

Mode of Selection :
(a) The Selection for the post of Stenographer will be made on the basis of Written Test- Part – I Objective Type, Part-II - Stenography test for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi and transcription of the same on computer for one hour & Part-III Computer Skill Test. The candidates for Part-II and III shall be called on the basis of their performance in Part-I.
(b) The Selection for the post of Librarian Gr. I / Library Assistant will be made on the basis of written test followed by interview.
