Solapur Power & Industrial Training Institute, Solapur, has been setup by NTPC Ltd. and is being managed by National Power Training Institute, an Autonomous body under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India for development of technical skills through ITI Courses and need based training of power sector personnel in the areas of generation, transmission and distribution.

Educational/Professional/Technical Qualification and experience :
1. Group Instructor/Superintendent: 10th class pass or equivalent and Diploma from a recognized University/Institute/Board, in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Technology with 5 years of practical experience in a reputed Industrial concern or in Training Institute. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 9300/- + GP of Rs. 4400/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

2. Training Officer: 10th class pass or equivalent and Diploma from a recognized University/Institute/Board, in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Technology with 5 years of practical experience in a reputed Industrial concern or in Training Institute. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 9300/- + GP of Rs. 4400/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

3. Instructor (Wireman) : 10th class pass or equivalent and Degree or Diploma from a recognized University/ Institute/Board in Electrical Engineering/Technology with one/two years of Practical experience in an Industry or Training/Teaching Institute for Degree and Diploma holders respectively or National Apprentice Certificate in Wireman Trade or National Trade Certificate in Wireman trade from a recognized Institute/Board with 3 years of Practical experience in an Industry or Training/Teaching Institute. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 9300/- + GP of Rs. 4300/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

4. Instructor (Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) : Passed 3 years Diploma in Computer Science / Engineering / Technology from recognized board or institution with 2 years working experience in the relevant field. Or Passed MCA/B-Tech/BE in Computer Science / Engineering / Technology from recognized university with 1 year working experience in the relevant field. Or Passed BCA/ B.Sc. Computer Science / DoEACC ‘A’ Level from recognized University with 2 years working experience in the relevant field. Or National Apprentice Certificate or National Trade Certificate holder in COPA trade with three years relevant working experience in an Industry or Training/Teaching Institute. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 9300/- + GP of Rs. 4300/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.
Desirable: CTI Certificate in COPA trade

5. Instructor (Electrician) : 10th class pass or equivalent and Degree or Diploma from a recognized University/ Institute/Board in Electrical Engineering/Technology with one/two years of Practical experience in an Industry or Training/Teaching Institute for Degree and Diploma holders respectively or National Apprentice Certificate in Electrical trade or National Trade Certificate in Electrical trade from a recognized Institute/Board with 3 years of Practical experience in an Industry or Training/Teaching Institute. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 9300/- + GP of Rs. 4300/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

6. Junior Accounts Officer : Commerce Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years of relevant experience of working as Accountant/Accounts Assistant in pay scale of 5200-20200 plus GP 2400 or equivalent in Central/State Government Departments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings or 5 years of relevant experience of working as an Accountant in a reputed Organisation/Institute. Adequate knowledge of Commercial Accounting and Rules and Regulations of Central/State Government and possess basic knowledge of computers. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 9300/- + GP of Rs. 4200/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

7. Pharmacist : Passed Senior Secondary School Examination under 10+2 and Diploma in Pharmacy approved by Central/State Government. Should be registered under Pharmacy Council of India. Should have 3 years of relevant experience as Pharmacist in a hospital or dispensary. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs.5200/- + GP of Rs. 2800/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

8. Senior Assistant/UDC : Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years of relevant experience of working as Assistant/LDC in the pay scale of Rs. 5200- 20200 plus 1900 GP or equivalent in Central/State Government Departments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings or 5 years of relevant experience in the field of HR & Administration in a reputed Organisation/Institute. Should possess adequate knowledge of Administrative Rules & Regulations of Central Government and having basic knowledge of computers. Should posses knowledge of Marathi typewriting speed of 30 w.p.m. and English typewriting speed of 40 w.p.m. as evidenced by test. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 5200/- + GP of Rs. 2400/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

9. Assistant/LDC : Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute and Proficiency in typewriting with a minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. in English as evidenced by test. Should possess proficiency in Computers. Knowledge of Marathi language and Marathi typewriting speed of 30 w.p.m. is essential as evidenced by test. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs.5200/- + GP of Rs.1900/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.

10. Dresser: Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute and Certificate course in First Aid from St. John Ambulance Association or equivalent and should have 2 years of experience of giving First Aid and carrying out dressing to accident victims in a hospital or dispensary. The fixed emoluments mentioned above consists of fixed pay of Rs. 5200/- + GP of Rs. 1800/- and variable CDA which is presently 72%.
