Applications are invited on prescribed format for a Junior Research Fellow position available in the Department of Molecular Microbiology, School of Biotechnology, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai - 625 021 to work on the CSIR sponsored Project.

Title of the Project: “Green energy from oleaginous cyanobacteria: production, optimization and over expression of acetyl CoA carboxylase and thioesterase for biodiesel production”.
Position: Junior Research Fellow

Duration: 3 Years.
Fellowship: Rs.16000 + HRA (as per university norms) for first two years and 18000 + HRA for 3rd year

Qualification: M.Sc./ M.Tech (with at least 55% marks) in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences

Desirable qualifications: NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.
