Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)-2013

Participating Universities :
Ten Central Universities namely Central Universities of Bihar, Gujarat, Orissa, Punjab, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu have come together to conduct common entrance test for programmes offered in these Universities.

PROGRAMMES OFFERED BY CUTN AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
I. INTEGRATED M. Sc. PROGRAMMES (5 YEARS) :
Mathematics : Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with 60% marks (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Botany/Zoology) for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

Physics : Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with 60% marks (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Botany/Zoology) for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

Chemistry : Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with 60% marks (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science/Biology) for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

Life Sciences : Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with 60% marks (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany/Zoology) for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

Economics : Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Mathematics or Economics with Business Mathematics at the Hr. Secondary level with 60% marks in aggregate for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

II. INTEGRATED B. A. PROGRAMMES (4 YEARS) :
B.A./ B.Sc. B. Ed. : Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with 60% marks for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

Last date for receipt of offline applications - 30-04-2013
Downloading of Admit Card commences from - 15-05-2013

Counselling Sessions & Admissions will be as per the following schedule

For all Research programmes - 19-08-2013
