VACATION TRAINING at TATA STEEL-2013

Eligibility : Son / Daughter only of a Tata Steel Employee/EX/ESS-employee (no other relation whatsoever).

Minimum Educational Qualification :
The candidate should necessarily have completed/ appeared in 5th semester of the 4-year Engineering Degree Course from an AICTE approved institute in any of the following discipline: Mechanical & Production/ Electrical & Electronics/ instrumentation/ Metallurgy/ Chemical Civil and IT- computer.

Duration of Training :
As recommended by respective institute.
The trainees will be inducted in groups on every Tuesday from 07.5.2013 To 30.06.2013 only.

Certificate : On completion of the project, the trainee has to submit a report (certified by the respective guide) and return the gate pass, the safety pass and then arm band provided to him/her.

General Information :
a. Unpaid Training: Tata Steel does not pay any stipend for this category of training, nor, it charges anything from the trainee. However, each trainee will have to pay Rs.200/- as the charge for processing of the work entry pass, which is outsourced.
b. Conveyance: The candidate should arrange for conveyance himself/herself. However, they can use the free bus service inside the works.
c. Accommodation: No accommodation will be provided by SNTI.
d. All post application correspondence should be made through our e-mail snti.vt@tatasteel.com.

How to Apply :
Application should be filled in either through Tata Steel intranet or, through Tata Steel Internet (www.careers.tatasteelindia.com). The applicant should also take out a print of the online filled in form and submit the same at SNTI along with:
i. The request letter from the institute,
ii. One recent PIP size photograph.
iii. Photocopy of front page of Medical Book/Father's service book (if retired ESS)

The site will be open from 5th March 2013 to 15th April,2013
Last date of receipt of The filled in on-line application form along with required document should be submitted to SNTI- N application road Bistupur by 20th April 2013.

** The candidates are advised to read advertisement carefully and follow the instructions.
** All application should be filled in on-line by clicking "Application" button on this site.
** After filling in all the required information submit the application by pressing "submit" icon of the page.
** After submitting the application page an attachment for "Project Detail" along with filled in "Application Form" will be available on the site. Print both the pages.
