Applications are invited through Registered Post for the post of Forest Guard on the prescribed application form, the format of which is given at the end.

The candidates are advised to strictly use this format of the application on legal sizepaper only, failing which, their application can be rejected. The format given at the end should be photocopied (enlarged) on a thick paper. A cut-out from the newspaper shall not be used. The candidate should specify on the top of the envelope “Application for the post of Forest Guard.”

Essential Qualification:
i) Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognised State Education Board/University.
ii) Hindi up to Matric Standard

Minimum physical standards:
Male :
a. Height : 168 cms
b. Chest : 79 cms(Un-expanded); 84 cms

Female :
a. Height : 155cms
b. Chest : 74 cms(Un-expanded); 79 cms(Expanded)

Walking test : 25 kms for males and 14 kms for females to be completed in 4 hours

Fee: Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order in favour of “Secretary, Departmental Selection Committee, Haryana Forest Department”.
General Candidates : Rs.100/-
SC/BC Candidates : Rs.25/-

What is the age relaxation?

RELAXATION IN AGE:
i. In the case of SC/BC the upper age limit is relaxable by five years as per Haryana Govt. instructions.
ii. For Ex-servicemen candidates relaxation up to continuous military service added by three years is permissible.
iii. The upper age limit in respect of widow, legally separated woman, divorcee, deserted woman and unmarried woman will be up to 45 years as per Government instructions.
iv. The age of those candidates who have applied earlier against Advt. No. 1/2011 Category No. 2 will be considered on the closing date of that advertisement/corrigendum.
