Applications are invited by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Govt. of Goa, Panaji for filling up 400 posts of Special Forest Guards from Wildlife Proximity Zone & Forest Talukas under the “Scheme for round the clock protection of Forest and Wildlife treasures under Wildlife and Forest talukas in the State of Goa -2012”.

Educational Qualification :
1. Should have passed High School Certificate Examination (10th ) or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution
2. Knowledge of Konkani language
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi language

Physical Requirement :
1. Male Candidates :
Height : 163 cms
Chest (Girth) : 79 cms
Expansion (Full) : 5 cms

2. Male Candidates :
Height : 150 cms
Chest (Girth) : 74 cms
Expansion (Full) : 5 cms

Walking Test :
Male Candidates :25 kms to be completed in 4 hours
Female Candidates :16kms to be completed in 4 hours

Qualifying Tests: As per the criteria, the eligible candidates will have to qualify in the Written Test/Walking Test/Physical Fitness Test for the post. The dates of the tests will be communicated separately.

The applications shall also bear passport size photograph affixed in the box prescribed in the format, duly signed on the photograph by the applicant. Two more photographs are to be stapled to the format on the other side by writing name of candidate backside of photograph, which is required for the admit card.
