The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body under the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The Council carries out its activities and functions through its network of 30 Institutes. The Headquarter of the Council is situated in Delhi at the above address. There is also an attractive performance based time bound in-situ promotion scheme for “Group-A” Medical Doctors and Non-medical Scientists of this Council.

1. Name of the Post : Research Officer (Ayurveda)

Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 3 of Rs.15600-39100+Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Educational and other Qualifications. :
1. Matric or equivalent
2. Degree/Diploma in Ayurveda of 4 years duration from a recognised University/Statutory Faculty/Board.
3. Post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Ayurveda of minimum of 2 years duration from a recognised University/Statutory Board/Faculty.
4. 8 years professional experience after obtaining Degree/Diploma out of which 2 years experience should be in research/teaching in a recognised Institution/College/University.

2. Name of the Post : Research Officer (Chemistry)
No. of vacancies : 06
Maximum Age : 40 years as on 1.1.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 3 of Rs. 15600-39100+Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Educational and other Qualifications. :
1. Post-graduate Degree in Chemistry from a recognised University/ Institution.
2. 5 years research/teaching experience after obtaining the Degree in a recognised Institution/College/ University. OR
1. Ph.D. from a recognised University/Institution.
2. 3 years research/teaching experience in a recognised Institution/ College/University.

SC/ST candidates : Rs. 20/-
