I. How to get an appointment for UID
1.Process of Appointment :
The Dist.collector/ Municipal commissioner may seek expression of interest from any agency which meets the qualifications criteria and agrees to all the therms of conditions of existing contract that govt.Maharashtra has with the present EAs as well as all the policies guidelines of the state Govt.and UIDAI that are the available or may be released form time to time
The Dist.collector / Municipal commissioner is free to terminate the services of the agency at any point of time if the performances of the agency is not found to be satisfactory or any non compliance is noted with the respect to the terms and conditions and guidelines set by Govt.of Maharashtra and UIDAI

2. Qualification Criteria :
The selected agency should meet the minimum qualification criteria given below
1. A company register under the companies act 1956
2. The company should be existence for a minimum of 3 years as on 31 2012
3. The company must have a PAN Number
4. The company should have an annual average turnover of INR 50 Laks in the 3 financial years to be declared by audited account/certified balance statement report in India
5. The company should have been profitable in at least 2 of the last financial years 2009-10,2010-11,2011-12 as declared by audited account/certified balance statement report in India
6. The company should not have been blacklisted by central or any state government. the company shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility corrupt financial practices

3. Scope of Work :
The Scope of work for the selected agency is follows
1. Procedure enrolment hardware ,software including Biometric devices UIDAI specifications
2. Setting up of enrolment stations and enrolment center at via locations in the districts
3. The enrolment center should have equipment which has been certified/empaneled by UIDAI
4. Conduct enrolment operations as per standard process specified by UIDAI and Govt of Maharashtra
5. Maintain the ensure privacy and security of data

4. Rate Payable :
The agencies shall be payable a rate equal to the L1 rate for the district. The L1 rates for the districts are available on the website of http://aadhaar.maharashtra.gov.in
