The online tax payment service allows you to make instant payments through the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's (AMC) web site (www.egovamc.com) instantly through a credit card or an online banking account. For property tax you need to specify your “Tenament No” and pay directly through your credit card or online banking account.

How does this service work?
** Provide your Tenament details - enter the Tenament Number and click on ‘Search’.
** This will show the - The Name of Owner, Occupier (if any), Address and the tax amount due If tax amount is due then on the same page the ‘Pay’ button will be appear and to proceed with payment click the ‘Pay’.
** Then you will be redirected on another page for the payment confirmation where you can see the tenement details and payment amount. On this page you need to provide Email id or Mobile no. Then click the ‘Confirm’.
** You will be directed to a payment gateway where you will be required to enter your credit card details; alternately you will be taken to your Net Banking site where you have to input your user id/ password.
** Your payment will be authenticated over the payment gateway and your credit card or your bank account will be instantly debited.
** You will receive a Transaction Reference Number that is an acknowledgement for your payment request.
** Your payment will be credited into AMC's account either immediately or within 2 working days.
** If your payment is reflected into AMC's account immediately after successful payment, then you can either take print out or save the receipt.
** If your payment is not reflected into AMC's account immediately, then the receipt will be mailed to you once the transaction is confirmed or the amount is transfered into AMC's account.
