Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the CSIR sponsored Major Collaborative Research Project between Dept. of Biochemistry, Karnatak University, Dharwad and National Centre for Cell Sciences, Pune;
Title of the project: “Exploring the potential of RBL, a cytotoxic lectin from Rhizoctonia bataticola for ovarian cancer research: molecular signaling involved in RBL mediated cytotoxicity in ovarian cancer cells by in vitro and in vivo studies”
1. Name of the post : JRF
Duration: 36months or as and when project terminates.
Fellowship amount (As per the CSIR guidelines)): Rs. 12,000/- or 16,000/- per month with HRA.
Qualification : M.Sc., Biochemistry with a Minimum of 55% and one/two years of research training in protein purification and characterization, and candidates with experience in cell biology techniques preferred.
(In case suitable SRF is not found, the position for JRF will be considered)

Duration: 36months or as and when project terminates.
Fellowship amount (As per the CSIR guidelines): SRF: Rs. 14,000/- or 18,000/- per month with HRA.
Qualification : M.Sc., Biochemistry with a Minimum of 55% with NET-JRF qualified is preferred.
