    Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following positions on ad-hoc basis for a term of 11 months (can be extended for subsequent terms based on candidate's performance) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below.

    1. Name of the post : Project Technician (Machinist/Welder)

    Salary : Rs. 7000 - 13500/- p.m + Accommodation
    Qualification & Experience : ITI Machinist/welder with 2 years related experience

    2. Name of the post : Sr. Project Technician

    Salary : Rs. 9000 - 16000/- p.m + Accommodation
    Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 2 years of experience or ITI Machinist/Turner with 3 years.

    3. Name of the post : Project Electrician
    No. of post : 01
    Salary : Rs. 7000 - 13500/- p.m + Accommodation
    Qualification & Experience : ITI Electrician with 5 years of experience in Installation of industrial machines and electrical maintenance with wire men certificate issued by state government.

    Applications are invited for the following temporary positions in DIT sponsored project entitled “Development of Prosodically Guided Phonetic Engine for Searching Speech Databases in Indian Languages,” for a contract period of three months.

    Consolidated Monthly Salary: Rs. 12000/-.

    Note :
    Candidates having experience in signal processing and programming skills in MATLAB/C will be given preference. Selected candidates are going to work on various aspects in speech signal processing leading to the development of a speech search engine.
