Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India is an emerging multidisciplinary institute engaged in advanced research invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following posts in DBT sponsored project entitled “Identification of Genetic Susceptibility to Chronic or Recurrent Otitis Media with Effusion”.

1.Name of the post : Junior Research Fellow

Fellowship: Rs. 12,000 p.m. + 20% HRA (Rs. 16,000 p.m. + 20% HRA for NETJRF/ UGC/ICMR/DBT/INSPIRE qualified).
Age: up to 28 years
Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks in any branch of Life Sciences, Human/Medical Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry are eligible to apply. Candidate having research experience in the relevant field will be given preference.

2.Name of the post : Social/Field Worker

Salary: Rs. 8,000/- (fixed).
Age: up to 28 years
Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) with diploma in medical laboratory technology (DMLT). Preference will be given to those who are having BMLT and experience in R&D labs.

Essential Qualification: Graduate with Diploma in Store Management and minimum seven years experience in the grade pay of Rs.2,400/- or equivalent having the knowledge of Store Management. Post-Graduate with PGDCA.
Desirable Qualification: Holding the responsibility of Store/Purchase, Inventory Management and Physical Stock verification.

02) Name of the Post: Senior Stenographer

Essential Qualification: Graduate with proficiency with speed of 100 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 45 w.p.m. in Typing. Candidates should be able to handle word processor, conversant with secretarial practice and passed Stenographers’ examination.
Desirable Qualification: Good communication skill. DCA with 03 years experience or PGDCA with 02 years experience as Stenographer or equivalent in Government/Public Sector/Autonomous Institution.
