    A Common Entrance Test, designated as LAW Common Entrance Test-2013 (LAWCET-2013) will be conducted by the CONVENER, LAWCET-2013, Department of Education, Sir Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission into 3Year / 5Year LL.B / B.L Regular Courses in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2013-2014.

    1) Candidates who wish to apply for LAWCET-2013 are requested to fill the particulars carefully in ONLINE APPLICATION. The required information should be collected from the relevant documents.

    2) Candidates are requested to check the filled in particulars before pressing SUBMIT button DURING online application. If candidate wish to change, he/she can change selecting the EDIT button. After verifying and satisfying, submit the ONLINE APPLICATION.

    3) After submission of ONLINE APPLICATION, if any corrections are to be incorporated, candidate has to contact office of Convener LAWCET 2013 or any Regional Centre with the documentary proof. Data will be changed only if documentary evidence is satisfactory. HENCE, CANDIDATES ARE REQUESTED TO FILL THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM CAREFULLY

    4) Documented Information can be collected as mentioned below.
    Hall ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination
    - Marks Memo./ Hall ticket number of Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent

    Date of Birth
    - Birth Certificate / SSC or Equivalent Certificate.
    Hall ticket No. of SSC or Equivalent examination Certificate - SSC or Equivalent Certificate.

    Local Status (OU/AU/SVU/ Non-local)
    - The local candidate certificate issued by MRO or competent authority.

    Income of Parents (income is less than Rs. 2.0 lakhs or more than Rs. 2.0 lakhs)
    - The Income certificate issued by competent authority.

    Category (SC, ST, BC. Etc.)
    - The Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority.

    Special Category (NCC, PH, Sports, CAP etc.)
    - The Certificate issued by competent authority

    5) Other Information required for filling Online Application
    Recent passport size digital color photograph (size < 30 KB) of candidate for uploading (whose photograph is not available in Intermediate databases)
    Digital Signature of the candidate (size15 KB) of candidate for uploading (whose Signature is not available in Intermediate databases.)
    Regional Center to which candidate wishes to appear Ed. CET exam.
    Gender (Male / Female.)
    Community (Non-Minority / Minority).
    Mobile Number of the candidate.
    E- Mail of the candidate.
    Place where Studied - Municipality / Corporation OR Rural area in SSC and Intermediates.

    6) It is advised to visit your allotted Examination Center well before so that you can take examination tension-free.
    7) You will not be ALLOWED to take exam even if you are late by 1 minute.

    Submission & Registration of Online Applications Start From 09-03-2013.
    Application Forms will be accepted through Online only.

    I am Gayathri. I have got 450 marks in intermediate. Am I eligible to write entrance exam? Please suggest.

    Eligibility For LAWCET–2013 :
    3 year LL.B / B.L. Course:
    The Candidates for 3 year LL.B. / B.L. should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned.

    5 Year LL.B./B.L. Course:
    The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. / B.L. should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.

    Note:
    There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favor of the Candidates belonging to SC / ST.

    I want to know the age limit for AP lawcet entrance test. Would you like to assist me and tell me the age limit for lawcet?

    Age on admission:
    Subject to the conditions stipulated by the Govt. of A.P., on this behalf, the maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 3 year and 5 year LL.B / B.L Course shall be Thirty Years (relaxable by five years in case of SCs/STs) and twenty years (relaxable by two years in case of SCs/STs) respectively as on 31st December of the year of seeking admission.

    Note 1:
    Age limits mentioned above are under challenge in Hon’ble High court of A.P and Supreme Court in W.P.No.6691/09, 7610/09 and transfer petition (civil) nos 857-866 of 2009 in Supreme Court. Interim directions are awarded by the court relaxing the age limits. Admissions into the law courses shall be subject to the outcome of the pending cases.

    Note 2:
    Mere appearance in LAWCET will not give any right of admission. The candidate should satisfy all the eligibility criteria and should satisfy rules governing admission as are applicable.

    Note 3:
    Admission Regulations of Osmania University will be followed in respect of Age criteria for Admission into 3yrs/5yrs LL.B/B.L Law Courses in the Constituent Law Colleges of Osmania University.
