CSIR-NISTADS intends to engage about 15 project staffs in temporary positions at different levels for the above mentioned project.

1. Name of the post : Project fellow(PF)
Consolidated emoluments p.m. : Rs.16000/-
Age as on 06.03.2013 : 28 years
Qualification : MA/MSc//B.Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks

2. Name of the post : Senior Project Fellow(SPF)
Consolidated emoluments p.m. : Rs. 18000/-
Age as on 06.03.2013 : 32 years
Qualification : Candidates having MA/M.Sc./B.Tech. or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks & one publication in SCI/SSCI Journal and should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc/ M.A. /BE/B.Tech. research experience; OR
M.Phil/ME/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in engineering/technology with at least 60% marks;

Specialisation : social sciences especially economics, mathematics/statistics, computing or computer science/applications, engineering business studies, international studies, sociology, agriculture, and similar areas.

iii) Shortlisted candidates are required to report at 9.30 A.M. in CSIR-NISTADS conference hall along-with original certificates.

Note:
Preference will be given to candidates with capability and interest in empirical work including data handling and analyses, and with experience or output in the areas mentioned. Preference will be given to the candidates who wish to pursue PhD.

Shortlisted candidates for Interview for Project staff for the Indian S&T and Innovation Policy:
It is brought to the notice of candidates that following criteria for short-listing the applications under three categories were adopted:
1. Natural Science: Candidates having 60% marks in MA/MSc/B.Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized university and interested in pursuing PhD, having work experience or data handling experience or experience in using social science software packages.
2. Engineering Science: Candidates having 55% marks in M Tech/MSc/B.Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized university and interested in pursuing PhD and having work experience of more than 2 years and having data handling experience.
3. Social Science: Candidates having 55% marks in M. Phil/MA/MSc or equivalent degree from a recognized university and interested in pursuing PhD and having Work Experience.

In view of above candidates who have applied for senior project fellow will also be considered for Project Fellow positions and actual selection for senior project fellow and project fellow will be subject to fulfilling minimum prescribed qualification and experience mentioned in the advertisement. All the shortlisted candidates are required to bring all documents in original in support of qualification and having work experience, having data handling experience and experience in using social science software packages
