The applications for the academic year 2013-14 are now open. The last date for submitting the application is March 20, 2013
Instructions :
Eligibility:
** Indian national, residing in India
** Students below 30 years of age as on January 31, 2013
** Graduates of a recognised university (Students in the final year of the degree course and those awaiting results)
** Students planning to pursue postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions from Fall 2013
** Students who have applied and awaiting a decision from the university are also eligible to apply but the award of scholarship is subject to securing admission

Documents :
** Attested copies of the mark sheets of Xth, XIIth, and all years of the under-graduation study
** Attested copies of score cards of any qualifying examination taken. (Eg. GRE, GMAT, CAT, GATE etc..)
** Copy of the admission letter
** Reference letters
** Statement of course fee
** Any other document indicating receipt of any other funding, fee waiver etc

How to Apply :
The application form can be filled online or submitted offline.For both online application and downloading the form to be submitted offline, the applicant is required to register at http://pg.nsfoundation.co.in
After registration, the applicant is required to pay an application fees of Rs.500/- ; payable through the online payment gateway or a Demand Draft issued in the name of Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation. (Please note: The application fee collected is used for charity purposes).The Demand Draft needs to be sent by post/ courier to the Foundation’s office at 102, Maker Chambers III, 10th Floor, Nariman Point, Mumbai- 400 021

Selection Process for the Scholarship :
All applications will be screened for short listing. Short listed candidates will be required to attend a personal interview at Mumbai during June 2013 The interview is mandatory and is the basis for final selection.

Post Selection Formalities :
Selected scholars will have to submit attested copies of :
** The letter confirming admission to the College / University.
** Form I-20 ( in case of admission to universities in the US) or copy of letter offering financial support ( in case of universities in other countries).
** Scholars will be required to attend an Orientation Programme at Mumbai, before the commencement of their course.
** Scholars will have to sign an MoU with the Foundation and agree to its terms and conditions.
** Scholars will have to take an insurance policy and assign it to the Foundation.
** Disbursement of the scholarship will be done in installments based on the fee statement from the College/University to be furnished by the scholar.
