Title: Software Project Manager

Job description:
With high level of independent decision making authority and no supervision will be responsible for the following:
** Integrate legacy systems with more recent technologies like Java and XML;
** Work on workers compensation insurance vertical including Policy management, billings, A/R, Claims management and reporting;
** Support for requirements gathering and clarification with client;
** Track progress, arrive at delivery dates;
** Support and SDLC process adherence;
** Code review on need basis;
** Perform external testing on need basis;
** QA, UAT and Production deployment coordination and channelize delivery by lining up resources;
** QA, UAT and Production deployment validations and announcements;
** Facilitating proto types and piloting; Present design to tech leads, systems analysts and client managers to seek approval;
** Responsible for Resource planning, work allocation & Resource planning;
** Validate estimates and set milestones; Development and Testing environment planning and requests;
** Handle and set delivery expectation on production issues;
** Communicate risks and arrive at mitigation plans;
** Forecast and provide advice to client on resource planning and allocation for projects; Adhere to SLAs;
** Support audits and provide answers to audit questions; Generate metrics on regular basis and present it to client;
** Obtain feedback on work done, take preventive measures based on learning to avoid negative customer feedback;
** Account management and customer confidence building activities; Account mining and coordinating new ventures within client place.
** Requires travel/relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.

Education Qualification: MS or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Science/CE or related field plus 2 years experience in job offered or related field.
