Applications are invited in the prescribed form for filling up the following posts of Farm Manager under various Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Technical Assistant under AICR Projects, from the candidates who are qualified as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications in the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka.

1. Name of the post : Farm Manager

Scale of pay : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200 p.m.
Qualifications :
a. A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized Agricultural University with good academic record with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue).
b. A relaxation of minimum OGPA from 6.50/10.00 to 6.00/10.00 and CGPA of 2.25/4.00 to 2.00/4.00 is provided for SC/ST category (55% to 50 % of marks where grade points are not in vogue).

2. Name of the post : Technical Assistant

Scale of pay : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200 p.m.
Qualifications :
a. A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agricultural Mktg. & Co-operation / Sericulture /Home Science / Agril.Engineering / Veterinary Science/ Animal Science / Forestry from a recognized Agricultural University with good academic record with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue).
b. A relaxation of minimum OGPA from 6.50/10.00 to 6.00/10.00 and CGPA of 2.25/4.00 to 2.00/4.00 is provided for SC/ST category & Physical ly / Visually disabled persons. (55% to 50% of marks where grade points are not in vogue).

Fee : Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft / Bankers Cheque for Rs.200/- (For SC/ST Rs.100/- only) payable to the Comptroller, UAS, Dharwad drawn within the period from 11.02.2013 to 11.03.2013
