Job Information :
** 3-5 years of Strong hands-on experience on PHP, Java Script, HTML/CSS on any flavor of UNIX.
** Exposure to OOP, scripting (Perl, Shell), scalability and performance tuning of internet applications is strongly desirable.
** Strong hands-on experience with Web technologies, Web standards & protocols, Browser internals and OOD Methodologies is a plus
** Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Codeigniter (or similar) Framework.
** Experience in Joomla, Drupal, PostgreSQL is desirable.
Desired Candidate Profile :
** Good verbal and written communication, with the ability to rapidly learn and explain technical concepts.
** Responsible for successful delivery of projects - good understanding of requirements, strategic project planning, excellent quality control and timely delivery
** Initiative, leadership, and proven ability to work in a team and interact with various stake holders, very process oriented.
** Ability to champion change management and process implementation by obtaining buyins from across the development, product and operations (NOC) team.
** Very result oriented, ability to think out of box. Ability to build and implement innovative solutions.
** Contributions in external forums (conferences, publications, blogs, open source) a plus
** Ability to document the projects using internal wiki, ticketing system, handle subversion, etc
