Senior Software Engineer
Location : Trivandrum
Experience : 2 - 4years
Description :
**The candidate will be involved in the feature definition, engineering design, software implementation of L2 protocols, new data center and carrier Ethernet protocols. Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers.
**The candidate will also interact with marketing and customer support in addressing customer feature requests and customer issues.
**Networking protocol developmentfor a high end networking system in the area of IP services, Layer 2 and switching protocols for Ethernet and fiber channel based networks.
Domain Experience : Mandatory - Datacom - L2/L3
Preferred : Cellular Backhaul
Operating Systems : RTOS like VxWorks, Linux, Unix
Languages : Mandatory - C, C++ will be an added advantage
Programming Skills : Socket programming, Any L2/L3 protocol development,
Technologies/Tools :
**L2 switching Protocols
**L3 Routing protocols
**Packet Generators /Analyzers - IXIA/Spirent/Wireshark
**Device Management using SNMP ,CLI
Other Skills :
**Good analytical skills, debugging skills and testing skills
**Leadership skills
**Good Designing skills
**Should be able to interact with Client

Test Engineer
Location : Trivandrum
Experience : 1 - 3years
Description :
**Good Understanding on Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocols - OSPF, BGP
**Testing multicast protocols like IGMP/IGMP Snooping.
**Experience on Cisco/Juniper switches and routers.
**Experience in scripting languages/tools such as TCL, Expect, Perl
**Setting up linux /Unix machines to tests scenarios
**Testing of networking product security features is desirable.
**Experience in testing of data communication, embedded products
**Experience in testing with sniffers like Wireshark / Airopeek
**Experience on test tools like Spirent test center, Ixia will be added advantage.
Education : BE/ BTech/ MCA
Functional Area : Network Protocol Testing.
