PhD ADMISSION NOTICE

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to PhD program in the following University Teaching Departments;

How to Apply :
i) The request for sending the application form by post must reach on or before 06.03.2013.

ii) The last date for receipt of application forms in the concerned department is 11.03.2013 up to 5.00 p.m.

iii) The Information Brochure containing PhD Ordinance, University Research Scholarship Rules and the application form can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Registrar (R&S) on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana) on sale counter OR by sending a demand draft of Rs. 1050/- (Rs. 300/- for the SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in favour of the Registrar, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa payable at Sirsa.

iv) The downloaded application form would be acceptable only when the candidate encloses a Demand Draft/University Cash Receipt on account of price of application form given above.

v) Syllabi for entrance test shall be as per UGC (NET) Exam in concerned subject.

Mode of Selection:
The entrance test will be held on 14.03.13 (Thursday) as per schedule given below;

10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. : Economics, English, Physical Education

12.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. : Bio-Technology, Business Administration, Law, Computer Science & Applications, Journalism & Mass Communication

3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. : Public Administration, Education, Food Science & Technology, Computer Science & Applications, Physics, Chemistry, Commerce

Note :
i) JRF holders and Executives will also have to apply on the prescribed form & their admission will be as per guidelines given in the Information Brochure.
ii) The Information Brochure on sale counter will be available from 20.02.13.However the same will be available on the University Website with effect from 08.02.13.
