Job Description :
** Should possess working knowledge of MS office, Auto CAD, Planning and estimation software.
** Should posses’ good communication skills, interpersonal skills and stringent negotiation skills.
** Competent to read and analyze drawings in conjunction with specifications.
** Proven skill on techno commercial analysis.
** Should have served as quantity surveyor for at least one medium scale project worth more than 750 Millions.
** Should have procurement experience of construction materials and contractors.
** Should have good knowledge of material specifications, contract conditions and program.
** Reasonably good knowledge in analysis of rates and their interpretations.
** Responsible for asking/sending enquires for quotes.
** Responsible for comparing the quotes/materials based on specs, cost standards and quality.
** Responsible for quantities take off for all items of works.
** Responsible for planning and scheduling all the site commercial related activities in coordination with construction sequence and program.
** Responsible for the effective coordination with construction team.
** Responsible for induction and commercial coordination of all contractors at site.
** Responsible for checking all quantities submitted by the vendors. Responsible for quantities sign off with vendors.
** Responsible for forecasting resource requirements (Manpower, Building, materials, machinery and Asset materials) and their costs.
** Responsible for forecasting the activities and cost ahead.
** Responsible for checking records of material consumption and comparing the same with theoretical consumption.
** Responsible for recording variations, substantiations and justification.
** Responsible for scrutinizing and forwarding the bills from vendors.
** Responsible for incorporating cost implications due to non conformance at site.
** To assist construction team in all commercial issues and reports.

** Taking and reporting stocks as and when required.
** To assist Store Manager in preparation of material requirement on daily / weekly / monthly basis.

Essential Qualities :
** Good knowledge of construction material used at project site with their unit of measurement.

Experience min 5 years of experience in reputed construction materials testing lab.

Job Description :
** Should possess working knowledge of rebar steel, soil, cement, concrete, mortar and NDT testing methods.
** Should have done all the material tests personally.
** Responsible to do all test as per QA engineer requirements.
** Responsible for registering all test data in the report format.
** Responsible for the effective coordination with construction team and stores.
