NITIE invites applications for the posts of Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF) and Technical Staff for European Union-DST project, the details of which are provided below;

Project Name: “Supporting Consolidation, Replication and Up-scaling of Sustainable Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Technologies for India” SARASWATI.
Sponsoring Agency: Department of Science and Technology (DST)
Framework: Indian - European Union Science & Technology Cooperation Agreement
Duration: Three Years

1.Name of the post : Junior/Senior Research Fellow, (JRF/SRF)
No. of post : 1
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum qualification M.Sc./M.tech in Environmental Science/Engineering, MBA in Environmental Management. Ph.D. preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in the above mentioned areas will be given preference.
Remuneration: Approx. consolidated salary of Rs. 25000/- pm (inclusive of HRA) on temporary basis initially for a period of one year which may be extended on year to year basis subject to the satisfactory performance.

2.Name of the post : Technical Staff

Essential Qualification & Experience: Minimum qualification B.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Environmental Studies/ analytica
chemistry. M.Sc. preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in the above mentioned areas will be given preference.
Remuneration: Approx. consolidated salary of Rs. 12000/- pm (inclusive of HRA) on temporary basis initially for a period of one year which may be extended on year to year basis subject to the satisfactory performance.
