Job Title : Android Developer
Reports To : COO

Brief Description of the Position :
** NowPos has an immediate opening for a software developer who will help lead the way in developing next generation mobile applications on cutting edge platforms. We’re looking for someone great to join our small, fast-paced team that helps hundreds of thousands of people each day connect and interact.
** The position will have the added benefit of working with a young, dynamic and highly experienced team in the flexible environment.
** Essential Duties And Responsibilities
** Responsibilities will include all aspects of software development from design to coding and testing.

Minimal qualifications include :
** A Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
** 6+ years of software development experience
** 2+ years hands on Android experience in a professional environment. Experience in developing native Android apps is strongly preferred
** Source code control understanding (experience with Subversion and Eclipse preferred)
** A passion for mobile device technologies, especially Android
** Demonstration of at least one Android application developed

Additional qualifications (nice to have) include :
** Experience with OpenGL
** Experience in developing Location Based Services
** Basic knowledge of major mobile platforms (iOS, Symbian, J2ME, Qt, Bada etc.)

** Basic knowledge of major mobile platforms (Android, Symbian, J2ME, Qt, Bada etc.)
