MAHARASHTRA STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION (ISO- 9001-2008) Organizes “ A State Level Student’s Technical Quiz Competition ” on (9th March. 2013) CONDUCTED BY DEPARTMENT OF E & T C Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s BHIVRABAI SAWANT POLYTECHNIC Wagholi Pune.

Directions for Technical Quiz Competition :
1. As per MSBTE guidelines the 50% Question will be based on curriculum & 50% on Technological field related to Electronics group.
2. The quiz round and questions will be moderated by Quiz moderation committee comprising of three senior faculty members of discipline from different institutes.
3. Question will be of short nature & answer in the form of multiple options will be provided.
4. Depending upon number of team’s preliminary written test will be conducted to select eight best teams followed by Semi-Final and Final rounds.
5. There will be four teams in each round for semifinal and four teams will be selected for final round.
6. Each semifinal and final round will be of four sub rounds.
7. Juries will be prominent academicians of various Electronics institute & Juries decision will be final.
8. Further details about rounds will be communicated before start of quiz competition.

ELIGIBILITY :
All the final year students of polytechnic belonging to the department of Electronics Group. (Note – Participants are eligible for TA/DA as per MSBTE’s Rules.) (Please use Xerox copies of the form if required.)

HOW TO REACH :
Our institute is located 15 km away from Pune Station. PMPML Buses are available after every 10 minutes from Pune Station & College bus facility is also available from all corners of Pune city.

Instructions to Participants :
1. No Registration fees
2. Entry is limited to forty Teams only. Last date of entry is 27/02/2013.
3. Only one entry from each college
4. Each team will have two participants from final year Polytechnic
5. For accommodation participants should inform us before 05/03/2013 through email or phone.
6. For quiz competition student should be in respective college uniform or in formals.
7. Student should carry college recommendation letter with valid Identity Card.
8. Participant girl student must be accompanied by lady staff or by parent.
9. Traveling expenses limited to bus fare or railway second class sleeper fare will be paid to student.

Registration & Tea 09:00 am to 10:00 am
Inauguration 10:00 am to 10:30 am
Written Test 10:30 am to 11:30 am
Semi-Final 11:30 am to 01:30 pm
Lunch Break 01:30 pm to 02:30 pm
Final Round 02:30 pm to 04:00 pm
Tea 04:00 pm to 04:15 pm
Prize Distribution 04:15 pm to 05:00 pm
