MT-CET 2013 shall be held on 16th May 2013 (Thursday)
The aspiring candidates (from Maharashtra) should register their names to the Junior Colleges for MT-CET. The Junior Colleges to send the requirement of Application Forms to the Notified Colleges of the respective Notified College by 18 Feb 2013.
For admission to first year of four year full time degree courses in Engineering / Technology and Pharmacy in the State of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MT-CET 2013) shall be conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. The Director, Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority for conduction of MT-CET 2013.
The MT-CET 2013 examination is scheduled on Thursday, 16th May 2013. The examination centers shall be at all district headquarters of Maharashtra state.
Getting the Application form for MT-CET 2013 :
A) Candidates appearing HSC/Passed HSC from Schools/Junior Colleges from Maharashtra State.
1. Candidates have to inform his/her School/ Junior College that he/she wishes to appear for MT-CET 2013 and make payment in cash to his/her School/Junior College.
2. Fee for MT-CET 2013 is Rs. 700/- for Open Category candidates and Rs. 500/- for Backward Class Category candidates of Maharashtra State.
3. The School/Junior College will prepare a single Demand Draft for all students appearing for MT-CET 2013 from their School/Junior College in the name of “Director, Technical Education, Mumbai” payable at “Mumbai” and submit at the Notified College of their district and collect Application Kit and Information Brochures and for MT-CET 2013 required for their School/Junior college as per schedule.
4. Information Brochures and Application Kit for MT-CET 2013 will be made available to the Candidates through his/her School/JuniorCollege.
B) Candidates appearing HSC/Passed HSC from Schools/Junior Colleges from Outside Maharashtra State.
1. The candidates, who are /have, appearing HSC (XII)/Passed HSC, from Schools/Junior Colleges from outside Maharashtra shall purchase the Information Brochure and Application Kit from any one of the 35 Notified College.
2. Fee for MT-CET 2013 is Rs. 700/- for Open Category candidates and Rs. 500/- for Backward Class Category candidates of Maharashtra State.
3. Candidates has to submit a Demand Draft for Rs. 700/- or Rs. 500/- in the name of “Director, Technical Education, Mumbai” payable at “Mumbai”.
Filling of Online Application Form :
The application form is to be filled online on the website.
A) Candidates appearing HSC/Passed HSC from Schools/Junior Colleges from Maharashtra State.
1. Collect the Application Kit from the Junior College as described above as per schedule.
2. Log on to www.dte.org.in/mtcet2013
3. Click on “Apply Online” and log in using Application Kit Number & Password provided in the Application Kit.
4. Follow the instructions given in the Application Kit for filling online application form.
5. Fill the online application form completely, upload the photograph with signature.
6. Verify the information filled. Make the necessary corrections, if any.
7. Confirm the Online Application Form by clicking “Confirm Application From” button.
8. Take two printouts of the Online Application form. The candidate and his/her parent have to sign on both copies of the Application Form. Candidate has to submit both duly signed copies to his/her School/Junior college.
9. Principal of school/Junior College will verify and put his/her signature and seal on the printouts submitted by candidate and return one copy to candidate as Receipt-cum-Identity Card. DTE, Mumbai MT-CET 2013
B) Candidates appearing HSC/Passed HSC from Schools/Junior Colleges from Outside Maharashtra State.
1. Collect Application Kit as described above.
2. Log on to www.dte.org.in/mtcet2013
3. Click on “Apply Online” and log in using Application Kit Number & Password provided in the Application Kit.
4. Follow the instructions given in the Application Kit for filling online application form.
5. Fill the online application form completely, upload the photograph with signature.
6. Verify the information filled. Make the necessary corrections, if any.
7. Confirm the Online Application Form by clicking “Confirm Application From” button.
8. Take two printouts of the Online Application form. The candidate and his/her parent have to sign on both copies of the Application Form. Candidate has to submit both duly signed copies to any of the Notified College. The examination center will be allotted at the district head quarter of that Notified College where candidate has submitted the application form.
9. The candidate has to produce his/her original SSC Marksheet and Identity card to prove his/her identity to Notified College while submitting the Application Form. Attach photocopy of the same with the printouts of the Online Application Form.
10. The officer authorize by Notified College shall put signature and seal on the printouts submitted by the candidate and return one copy to candidate as Receipt-cum-Identity Card.

I want to take admission for B.Arch and I have answered nata. I wanted to know the admission procedure and when is it starting?
I want to take admission for mba at pune. I also gave feb cmat exam but I dont know the process of mba admission at maharastra. So tell me what i will do?

What will be the language of question paper in the Examination?
The medium for examination shall be English or Marathi or Urdu for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, Mathematics paper shall be in English only. The option once exercised about the medium by the candidate shall be irrevocable.

My niece has appeared for HSC Exam in dubai as her parent work there. She wants to appear for Entrance Exam for Engg/B.Arch. Can she apply. Please guide.
Can Gulf parents children get admission in engineering college in Mumbai without Entrance Exam? i.e MT-CET If so what procedure to follow please.
I have put my name wrong in the form how can I change it? Also I wanted to apply only for maths chemistry and physics. But I also selected biology. What should I do?
