Job Description
RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT: Assist the Project QA/E Manager in facilitating the development, operation and maintenance of Quality and Environmental related matters with regard to the implementation of the work requirements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
Assist the Project QA/E Manager and Section Managers in the production/implementation of Safety, QA, QC and Environmental procedures.
Audit/monitor QA and Environmental systems for compliance and effectiveness.
Assess subcontractor/supplier QA arrangements for compliance with contract requirements.
Ensure key dates are achieved for preparation and submission (where appropriate) of quality procedures, inspection and test plans.
Acquaint section personnel with QA requirements and arrangements in place to achieve them.
Ensure QA records are produced and stored by the Document Controller/Supervisor in a readily retrievable manner/submitted in a timely manner.
Provide regular reports and analysis of QA performance to Project QA/E Manager.
Carry out scheduled inspection/random spot checks on product/work quality being achieved and report results/make suggestions for improvements, if appropriate.
Control/check on status of issue/revisions of QC documents/drawings within your section/on sites.
Supervise the works and performance of QA Inspectors/other subordinates as designated.
Assist in the development and maintenance of Company systems.
Other duties as directed.
Coordinating the documentation, including planning, reviewing and updating of the Project Management Plan and other documentation required for the implementation of the QA&E Systems in the Project.
Assist the Project Director/ Manager in determining the quality and environmental objectives and targets for the Project.
Monitor the implementation of the Project Quality and Environmental Plan.
Coordinating and maintaining a non conformance control system including the issuing of non conformance reports to the Project Manager and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and effective.
Control further activities until a quality or environmental deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

Desired Candidate Profile
Required;
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Science or Quality Assurance/Quality Control related background.
3 - 5 years working experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Ms Office.

Preferred;
Experience in Construction industry.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good analytical mind and result oriented.
