Job Description
Provide technical advice on optimal operation of distillation facilities, through monitoring, modelling and the evaluation of plant performance;
Execute process studies in support of projects in Shell or JV refineries and gas plants as well as for licensing bids;
Participate in margin improvement and energy reduction activities, technical audits, safety audits;
Make process designs for revamps and new units;
Make designs of distillation internals and separation devices. Provide support to other GS Groups and Chemicals for the design of column and vessel internals and verification/approval of these designs;
Give technical support in later project stages;
Support acquisition activities in Refining, Chemicals, Gas and Upstream;
Participate in the development and maintenance of in-house tools and documentation, and do gatekeeping on competitors developments;
Adhere to quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile
With relevant experience in either a refinery environment, you’ll have worked with ProII or other Process Modelling/Simulations tools;
You will have had relevant exposure to process refinery technologies, preferably including Distillation;
You’ll possess a pro-active and innovative attitude to attracting new business, be an excellent (virtual) team player and have a well-developed approach to service;
Fluent in written and spoken English, you’ll be able to work independently and take ownership of your work;
Design and project experience would be an advantage, and you should be prepared to undertake a certain amount of international travel;
Authorisation to work in India is required for this position;
A remuneration package based on the conditions in the country of employment will be offered for this position
